PARTIAL SOLAR ECLIPSE

In the morning of May 21, 2012, a partial solar eclipse would be visible in the Philippines. It is however unfortunate that the "First Contact" would occur before sunrise. Nevertheless, this would be an exciting phenomenon and if the weather permits, this would be a good opportunity for solar imaging and solar observation. Below is a simulation of the entire eclipse in 15-minute intervals:
